Alaskan 4 Star Charters has been in business since 2000. Its owner Jody Mason has been in Alaska since 1972. As a young man Jody has fished most of Alaska, via the Alaska Highway System. Both freshwater and salt. Jody started fishing in Whittier in 1977 and fell in love with both its fishing and the sightseeing of the Prince William Sound. Whittier is perched at the head of Passage Cannel and only one hour south of Anchorage, making it the closest salt water fishing grounds to Anchorage. Anglers fishing Whittier / Prince William Sound will find all 5 types of Salmon some 15 types of Rockfish, 4 types of Sole and Flounder and of course the mighty Halibut.
